God Will Take Care Of Situations

"Do not be afraid of the words that you have heard" (II Kings 19:6)

These are the words spoken by the LORD God through His prophet Isaiah to Hezekiah the king of Judah when the great king of Assyria came against him to capture the kingdom.

What were the fears of the King?

1. The fear about the words of threatening came from the king of Assyria
2. The fear that no nation had stood before them and won
3. The fear that there is no other kingdom to put trust on them
4. The fear that there is no place of escape from the hands of Assyrians
5. The fear that God whom they put their trust seems to be silent all these days
6. The fear that his own people might go against him and surrender to the Assyrians
7. The fear of losing lives and lands during the time of battle.

Today this may be the situation we are crossing through. The words that come against us might be threatening. The people who stand against us might be giants. The situation that we face might be big. There is no one to rely on, nor anyone can come to our help to rescue us from those situations and people. There is no way to escape ourselves from them. People on whom we had our trust left us in this situation. Though we prayed hard it seems those were unanswered.

Are we going through such a situation in life, unable to share with anyone? Today the LORD God says, "Do not be afraid of the words that you have heard." Fear not! The God who is with us is greater than all the problems that is standing in our way. Those words will be mere words and He will not allow anything to overcome us.

So be cheerful, wipe away all your tears, get up and stand on your feet. Fear not! Don't let your heart to be troubled because of the words you hear against you. We have a big God who takes care of all our problems. Put your trust on Him and He is there for you. God bless you.

Have a blessed day!
