God Has A Purpose For Our Lives

"Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die" (Judges 6:23)

These are the words of the LORD God spoken to Gideon was hiding himself from the enemies.

What were the fears of Gideon?

1. The fear about why all these calamities are happening to his family and to his people
2. The fear about the continuous defeats in the battles against their enemies and there seems to be no one to save them to restore peace
3. The fear about whether God still exists, whether He hears their cry, whether He can still save His people and deliver them from their enemies
4. The fear about the present state of himself and his family, for his family is the poorest of all and he is the least of all
5. The fear about his own life because he has seen God face to face and spoken with Him.

Dear friends, in our lives we may be crossing the same path of facing continuous defeats, sicknesses, failures, losses, etc. Many times we wonder whether a true god really exists to hear our cries, to see our situations, to deliver and uplift us. Many times we feel that we are not worthy, we are not talented, I am not that good person, I am a nothing, I don't have anything, what good thing I can do. But today our LORD God says, "Fear not! " He has the best plan for us. He has a purpose to do through us. He wants us to be His channel to bless others, to deliver others. At His appointed time, He will lift us up high above our thoughts and desires and make us a blessing to many others. The present situation cannot take our life because the Creator has already planned something best for us. So let us hold on to our peace and do not fear for anything.

Have a blessed day!
